There is so much silence in matters of mental health and its impact on individuals, families, communities and the nation. It is important to speak up, educate, raise awareness, and advocate for effective, proactive, enhanced services around mental health.
These waters runs deep
Cool as they seem deceive you not
For deep set it is
Runs deep, real deep
Cool, soft, tender, the surface is
Cool waves, calm ripple effects in display
Yet, deep inside the belly runs furry of unfathomable rage
For upstream flood gushes in,
Tearing deep into the subsoil of the cool water bed
And yes deeper and deeper I flow, lower and lower I sink
Yes just below the surface anger, bitterness, hate, regret, hurt reins
The hurt runs deep, scar barely healed
Deep inside memories fresh, pain surreal, like yesterday
Piercing deep, deep down the anguished soul
Unearth the pain you must, to heal
Unleash the medicine I must, into the deep
To heal, heal inside out, for the waters to reflect of the deep
Harmony, much needed harmony to achieve
Deeper I must explore, further I should go, reach out? to tame!
Tame raging me from me
For this water, deep it runs
