Born in the early 2000s with Douk Saga as its creator, the Coupé Décalé represents the desire to impress music lovers. With its creative fathers such as Le Molare,  Lino Versace, and Borosangui, the Coupé Décalé remains a reference in Côte d’Ivoire. After more than 20 years of existence and the contribution of artists of the new generation such as Serge Beynaud, Bebi Phillippe DJ Arafat, etc. who have been able to bring their touch to this artistry, the Coupé Décalé is currently experiencing an unparalleled rise.

Ivory Rap 

Once seen as a marginal musical genre, Rap Ivoire is experiencing a meteoric rise. It was in 1990 that this musical genre became known with groups such as RAS, Big Master Fly, Stezo, and the great Almighty. Since then, Rap Ivoire has undergone mutations embellished with new sounds and new dance steps. It is not the group Kiff No Beat who will tell us otherwise. This band composed of Black Didi B, Eljay, Joochar, and Elow’n has made the heyday of Rap Ivoire since the death of Almighty. Introduced by Team Paiya, the term “Paiya”, popularized by the Ivorians,  translates to ‘a state of mind and to have fun without complexes.’, Rap Ivoire is a must. At the forefront of the current scene, artists like Suspect 95, Himra, Andy S, Agato, Mister Christ, Defty, and Didi B are revolutionizing the world of Ivory Coast Rap.

Variety 

Ivorian music has several currents, among many others, Variety stands out. For several years, artists like Josey, Roselyne Layo, and Yilim have raised the flag of Ivorian music, high thanks to their lyrics. The particularity of this musical genre lies in the themes addressed (social relations, failures in love, hard work, etc.) in which everyone finds themselves.
