I know the pain you must feel right now

Is beyond any heartbreak you have ever felt

Because this is not even a heartbreak

This is beyond any heartbreak

This is out of the ordinary, unimaginable

That pain that will forever stain your heart

I have been left speechless so many times

But this time round, this is more than I can say

I want to say something but I’m not sure what to say

I really want to do something about it

God knows there’s nothing I can do

To ease your pain and sorrow

When it is time to face reality

Life hits you harder than expected

The one person you needed most

Has left to the other side to rest

You just can’t accept it because you

Cannot imagine life without them

Am so sorry you have to go through this

It’s just that one moment in life when you

Lose the most precious thing to you

And the most painful part is when you

Know that it is gone forever and ever

That’s the most bitter part about life 

The only things left of them are 

The memories and all the moments 

From when you were barely breathing

Till you started crawling to talking

All your childhood and adult memories

All left for you to process and feel everything 

That is the time you realize that that’s just it

May their soul rest in eternal peace.
