Additionally, the lack of adequate agricultural equipment (plowing machines), despite government efforts, contributes to this overuse. Finally, a lack of awareness about the harmful effects of pesticides leads many farmers to consider these toxic products as “miracle solutions”.
The Urgency to Put an End to It
Pesticides have serious impacts on human and animal health. Indeed, humans and animals are weakened by these products, reducing life expectancy. Finally, the continued mechanization of agriculture, along with farmer training and awareness programs, must persist to effectively end the abusive use of pesticides.
