The Teacher with a Heart Bleeding with Misery and Insecurity

Introduction

The great minds that the world has known, particularly in the fields of science, technology, mathematics, physics, engineering, and communication, have been able to achieve their goals thanks to the many sacrifices made by teachers, the trainers of minds, who have passed on their knowledge to future generations. Once revered, teachers embodied values such as honesty, loyalty, integrity, courage, and respect in society. Today, they are subjected to all kinds of abuses that undermine their value: salary crises, beatings, and repeated murders in classrooms, including assaults throughout the school year.

Salary Crises: An Art that Erodes the Status of Teachers in our Society

Associating poverty with the transmission of knowledge cannot be beneficial either for teachers or for the Republic. Called upon to shape minds, these educators, in a society that is conscious and concerned about its future, deserve as much respect as any civil servant working in the health and security sectors. Nowadays, teachers are becoming increasingly vulnerable because of the poverty they are subjected to. That said, if teaching requires a mastery of the moral values linked to respect for the ethics and professional conduct of the profession, any individual who agrees to pass on these fundamental values to learners should be spared any temptations that could distort their image. A teacher who reflects on how to impart knowledge deserves to be spared from any thoughts that could reduce their status to begging.

Beyond Financial Instability, Teaching is becoming a Risk

At the start of the school year, entering the classroom requires extraordinary courage for some teachers. Although they are used to salary crises, another scourge is plunging teachers into panic. In a society that murders, beats, and threatens these people who are supposed to be nurtured, it would have been preferable to take effective measures to spare them from all forms of violence in schools. They do not deserve to be the laughing stock of everyone, that is to say, the most unfortunate of human beings. To this end, the government must enact more laws to strengthen security in schools for fear of participating in the operation of empty classrooms at the start of the coming school year: such teachers have gone off on adventures abroad.

Conclusion

Far from inciting rebellion, education has always been the pillar of development for great nations in that it humanizes, shapes, and strengthens. “No nation can reach the heights of change if it does not provide quality education to young minds aspiring to revolution.” Aware of its benefits, the state has a duty to consider legitimate solutions that will benefit all three parties: teachers, students, and the state. Valuing teachers also means understanding that a nation cannot be built with minds lacking in knowledge. The heart of the teacher must be stable.
