A whisper soft, a hidden tear,
Disparity’s shadow, year by year.
Invisible threads, they bind and hold,
A fractured story, yet untold.
In shadowed corners, where dreams decay,
Opportunity’s light, fades far away.
A silent struggle, a heavy weight,
Where justice falters, and futures wait.
The threads of power, unevenly spun,
Leaving some voices, forever undone.
A tapestry torn, where colours divide,
A chasm of difference, deep inside.
But threads can mend, and hearts can see,
The shared humanity, wild and free.
To weave anew, with hands entwined,
A future of equity, for all mankind.
Let empathy’s needle, pierce the night,
And stitch together, what’s lost to sight.
For in the mending, strength we find,
To leave disparity’s threads behind.
