Introduction
To all generations, Africa has been the ferment that has nourished the germination of the great civilizations of humanity. From the majestic shadow of the high pyramids of Egypt, a symbol of the discovery of the laws of symmetry and geometric statics, through the sublime agoras of Greece where the forest of the first sparks of human knowledge was cleared, and in Ancient Rome, where the universal aspiration of an ideal society, on republican bases, takes shape within the marble of the senates. Africa has always brought what is best, during the great exchanges of the evolution of times which gave birth to the modern society in which we live. Today Africa must build itself, and give its shine to the rainbow of the growth of peoples.
Africa must refer to its history
Africa must develop, despite the delay (triangular trade, colonization). Africa must believe, in this period when globalization dictates the means of development and the paths of economic and social progress. Africa must assert itself if it wants to continue to be the fertile receptacle of the various prosperity and advances of the world. To continue its authentic growth, with a perspective of openness to the world, it must seek in the quarries of our history, the essential stones to stimulate the great dynamics of its growth. Africa’s history contains all the building blocks to catapult its economic and social development.
The historical stones constituting its growth
The historical stones which must inspire and nourish the development of Africa are numerous. Thus Africa must be inspired by the thirst for greatness of great Egypt, which from a civilization born on the banks of the Nile offered the world the most exquisite products (pyramids) of architecture. He must also consider the desire for conquest of Shaka the Zulu, who in this southern Africa, through legendary wars, prove what the abnegation of a reckless heart can give man to accomplish as exploits on the battlefield. He must also imbibe the bravery of the Amazons of Dahomey, who in the defense of their kingdom, exalted sacred femininity, mother and protector of a Nation. He must finally take ownership of the struggles of Nelson Mandela, who after having suffered the violence of the prisons of injustice, raised his persecuted soul to reach out to his executioners, to an entire country, to humanity.
Conclusion
Africa has a lot to learn from its history, to build a brilliant future, with the prospect of better shining on the great fresco of the contemporary apogee of peoples. The future of the Black Continent which sparkles in the rising horizon is great and Beautiful, if its growth, from Cairo to the Cape of Good Hope, is based on the living stones of its history. So our Dear Africa, will, as always, bring one of the greatest prosperity in the social and economic adventure of humanity.
