Here we are,
Where the world awakens,
Brewing with youth,
Filled with desires, dreams, and power
Ready to reap eudaimonia.
Here is life,
Pale without name,
Fruitless without flowers
That bloom and blush,
Whispering of hope.
Desire, dream, and power
Move like living winds,
Breathing into visions,
Carving the future,
Sowing and reaping.
And when harvest time arrives,
They ready their laughter,
For joy follows labour.
The youth sow and reap,
The outcomes of sweat and striving,
Building bridges for tomorrow,
Uniting for a common good,
Carrying the weight of a nation.
Here is life,
Pale without name,
And the garden of eudaimonia
Never to be forsaken,
Never to be abandoned.
Roses red,
Flowers blossoming,
Fruitful life the youth shall achieve.
For when talent is exposed,
When potential is recognized,
When gifts are honoured,
Eudaimonia shall be harvested,
And nations shall rejoice.
The youthful spirit burns bright,
A flame not to be dimmed.
Strength in unity,
Power in purpose,
Glory in perseverance.
Poem Description
4 Lessons of Keeping the Youthful Spirit Awakened
For a nation to thrive, youth must be energetic and active, never suppressed, never depressed. The lessons below are guiding lights for an empowered future:
You are your own mountain: Be your uplifter, your shield, the unshakable hope of the future.
You are a gift of nature: Born with the purpose to work, to create, to uplift, to build the common wealth of your people and your nation.
Put your hope in the Lord: When your feet stumble, when your arms grow weary, His strength will awaken you, renewing your courage for the journey ahead.
Never stop challenging the status quo: Carry an African mindset: No matter the situation, I can pull through. The nation’s inspiration rests in you. God has given you special abilities to climb, to create, and to carry the torch of hope for Africa.
