Like a bullet train heading to its destination,
Loaded with hope, with no procrastination,
Like a jumbo jet floating swiftly above all,
All leads to STEM, and STEM guides all.
S for science, supremacy, and satisfaction,
T for technology, transparency, and tactics,
E for engineering, empowering, and enlightenment
M for mathematics, metrics, and measurement
Even if the sky is our limit, gals,
Ambitions know no limits, pals.
With a golden touch, with a magic wand,
Once was a dream, now it’s the real world.
“Beauty is in the eye of the scientist.”,
Once Marie Curie passionately said.
To whom Rosalind Franklin replied,
“Life is science, experiment, and beyond.”
“Seek attainability, not possibility in tech.”
Alisha Ramos intellectually once said.
“In tech, gals excel when empowered.”
Odunayo Eweniyi confidently challenged.
“Engineer your future by courage.”
Marie Daly was once inspired.
To whom Grace Hopper replied,
“Run your clock counterclockwise.”
“Do the math and get it all arranged,
But never downgrade your imagination.
Goals never get naturally attained,
They’re calculated.”, Mae Jemison concluded.
Poem Description
This poem reinforces the importance of women’s contributions to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by commemorating various women in the previously mentioned fields. This encourages more girls to explore the possibilities available. Here, ambitions are the limit, not only the sky.
