Tim Carthy

BACKGROUND<

Tim joined Duignan Carthy O’Neill as a partner in 1999 after 12 years with Arthur
Andersen, a large international accounting firm, in their Dublin, Paris, Chicago, and
Sydney offices.

He has 25 years experience of audit, accounting and business consulting, and has
particular expertise in conducting financial due diligence on business in Ireland, UK
and overseas. Tim also has considerable experienced in forensic accounting and the
valuation aspects of commercial disputes. He is an acknowledged expert witness in
commercial court actions.

Tim is currently a director of 19 companies, including Irish and foreign-owned clients,
charitable institutions and other investment holding companies.

Auditor and business advisor providing advice on accounting, audit, tax and
information systems to local and international businesses across a wide range of
industries, including:

Tim has particular experience as auditor of Co-Operatives & Friendly Societies in both
the commercial and not-for-profit sector and is familiar with the particular reporting
obligations of entities reporting under this regime.

Tim is a keen supporter of the Firm’s commitment to AGN International and worked

French AssociationTim spent several years working in France and is a fluent French speaker. He
currently works with many French and Francophone businesses who have operations
in Ireland and who use Ireland as a base for their international activities. He has been
honoured by the French State for his services to Franco-Irish affairs.
