MATH SYMBOLS

The Unknowing involvement of mathematical symbols in our friendship with others

Introduction

Life is so fair that it is filled with these four major mathematical symbols (Additions, Subtraction -, Division ÷ and Multiplication ×)Have you ever thought of the people you called friends in your life? How much are they contributing or excluding from your life? How well are they imparting or hauling you?

Phases of Life illustrated by Mathematical Symbols

There are different phases in our lives, with four (4) different types of people/friends you will find in the various stages of life, illustrated by the significant mathematical symbols.

  1. ADDITION: You will find those people that are ready to add value to you even at the expense of their comfort, but the benefits of this set of people will undoubtedly be enjoyed if you see it as a work to add value to them in return (no matter the quantity). You don’t just want to be a taker! They always tend to contribute to you regardless of what they are going through.
  2. MULTIPLICATION: The second set of people are those that immensely contribute to your growth and development. They contribute with the expectation of little or no effort from you. They see adding value and making you better as their calling. They are the best set of people/friends.
  3. SUBTRACTION: The third set of people/friends are those that haul you. They take much from you. This kind of person tends to need your services whenever they want without any contribution. They are the people that remember you only when there is a need to ‘use’ you. They are not entirely bad as people view them because they make you better by stretching you to run some mental-physical errands for them. Sometimes, they are a significant key in your development journey.
  4. DIVISION: These are the worst set of people/friends. They are always ready to drain you to the last, and they deplete your energy entirely. This kind of person tends to separate you from your goals with all they do. They are passion killers.

Conclusion

Have you asked yourself which kind of friend you are to your friends? Are you the kind of friend that adds value to others or drains them? You need to check yourself and your friends out today. Self-examination is the primary key. “Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are”.

    Wow! This is amazing.

I must say it talks about the phases of friendship. People who you get in touch with in life tend to affect you (your life) positively or negatively.

However, it’s ones role to look and observe his or her friends in order to know the type and category of friends he or she keeps.

As we all know that, our social capital capacity is our greatest assets ✊.

Thank you, Tijani Ridwan Babatunde for this wonderful and an insightful article.
